Q. What is the IPA?
A. The IPA is the International Photobooth Association. The IPA was formed by professional business people who not only have a passion for photobooths but are dedicated to preserving the true and classic photobooth experience using state of the art digital technology.
Q. Can anyone join the IPA?
A. Yes. Anyone can join the IPA provided that they own and operate a minimum of two (2) Photoworks Interactive Model 12 digital photobooths. The IPA is committed to providing picture quality second to none and an experience that is consistent each and every time. Photoworks Model 12 is quite simply the finest digital photo booth in the world.
Q. Is the IPA a franchise and does it cost any money?
A. No, the IPA is not a franchise nor is Photoworks Interactive. All IPA members operate in a designated territory based on population, density and overall needs of a particular market. Traditional franchise fees do not apply. Our members invest their hard earned resources in equipment, marketing, customer service and innovation.
Q. What is the mission of the IPA?
A. Our mission is to deliver superior quality, value and service to our clients. This starts with using the only Professional Grade Digital Photobooth in the marketplace, the Model 12 by Photoworks. Our IPA members additionally work together to share ideas, maintain consistency and continually improve the experience for customers worldwide.

Q. Can I join the IPA with one (1) Model 12 in operation?
A. No. Under certain conditions in smaller markets we are open to an operator beginning with one (1) Model 12 but protected territory and IPA membership would not be available until (2) Model 12's are in service.
Q. Are IPA members full time operators or can I become involved if I have a full time career?
A. All IPA members are independent operators and are expected to meet the needs of the market that they represent. How you do this is up to you. We have members who are part-time and full-time with a variety of different backgrounds. Most members become full time due to the growth that they experience. Photoworks Interactive and fellow association members expect that you maintain established levels of quality and customer service in addition to meeting the needs of the market that you serve.
Q. Are there any incentives for an existing IPA member to refer a new member?
A. Yes, Photoworks is always looking to expand membership because it grows our market and our brand. This benefits both existing members as well as new ones. Photoworks offers generous incentives for qualified referrals who complete all terms of membership. These incentives cost the IPA members nothing, please contact Photoworks Interactive for details.
Q. Why should I join the IPA?
A. There are many reasons to join the IPA. If you are entrepreneurial and have always wanted to start your own business the IPA may be the perfect fit. If you have looked at franchise opportunities but do not care for the fees, restrictions and mountains of paper work that come with the opportunity, the IPA offers all of the benefits without the limitations.
Q. Can I sell my IPA membership?
A. Yes and No. You do not pay for membership but if you choose to sell your business your IPA membership could be transferred to another entity. This would need to be approved by Photoworks Interactive at the time of sale.
Q. As a member of the IPA how to I correspond with other members?
A. In addition to the IPA website and other web based communication the IPA also conducts an annual meeting. This annual meeting is a collaborative environment where members can share professional experiences and stay current with the latest industry trends and any new operational or maintenance procedures.
Q. Is there any reason not to join the IPA?
A. Yes. If you enjoy a dead end job, working for the man, paying egregious franchise fees, massive fixed business costs and overhead then, yes, the IPA is not for you.
